The display shows error E70 and the dryer has stopped — why?

Engineer's advice

This is a problem with the NTC probe, or temperature sensor, which has been damaged and is no longer working correctly.

In the best case, unplugging the appliance from the mains for 15 minutes may be enough for the dryer to resume normal operation.

However, if after plugging it back in the dryer shows no signs of life, you need to call an engineer straightaway.
