Error code E60 — what is causing the malfunction?

Engineer's advice

This is a generic alarm code indicating an overheating problem. The cause could be the dryer's placement — perhaps it is in a cramped, poorly ventilated space, which creates cooling difficulties.

In this case, the hot-cold air exchanger cannot operate properly.

These are fairly rare cases, but they do happen.

A compressor that is no longer fully efficient or a blocked fan should also not be ruled out.

In the worst-case scenario, the fault lies with the electronic control board.
